Caitlin Clark's Game Gets Its Own Shoe

The Nike Caitlin 1 translates Clark's quick, space-making style into her first signature basketball sneaker. It is built for the first step, the sudden step-back, and the fast release that can turn a narrow opening into a clean shot. Nike designed it for every position, making Clark's movement the starting point without limiting the shoe to guards.

Opticast Holds Without Weighing Down

The upper uses Opticast, a system of cast polyurethane nodes with different heights placed where structure is needed. That creates lateral support while keeping the shoe light and reducing drag. Underfoot, forefoot Air Zoom Turbo works with full-length Cushlon foam to add snap for quick moves and cushioning for the repeated stops, cuts, and landings of a full game.

Seven Colorways, One Double Swoosh

Seven colorways give the debut a much wider palette than a single launch edition. The first blue design has an inverted yellow companion, showing how the collection plays with paired opposites. On the upper, one translucent Swoosh overlays another to form a "CC," tying Clark's initials into a layered mark that also reflects the duality running through the designs.

More Than a Signature Debut

The $140 adult shoe launches alongside an 18-piece apparel collection that includes jackets, hoodies, and tees. With grade-school and preschool sizing also planned, the Caitlin 1 arrives as a broad first chapter for Clark's Nike line, not just a one-off performance model.
