These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the operator of soonlit.com ("soonlit," "we," "us"). soonlit is run by an individual, not a company. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The short version

soonlit tracks upcoming release dates and tells you where the information came from. We are not the official source for any release, and dates change constantly — treat everything here as reporting, not as a promise.

Some links on this site may earn us a commission. Where that's true, we say so on the page itself, next to the link.

The site is free and requires no account.

Who can use soonlit

You may use soonlit only if you can legally agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the site only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. soonlit is not directed to children under 13.

What soonlit is

soonlit collects publicly reported information about upcoming products and releases — announcements, official statements, press coverage, leaks, and rumors — and organizes it into countdowns and timelines with the sources attributed.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any manufacturer, publisher, studio, retailer, or brand featured on the site.

Release information and accuracy

Release dates move. Announcements get delayed, walked back, or quietly changed, and early reporting is sometimes wrong. soonlit shows each claim's source and a confidence score precisely because this information is uncertain by nature.

We make no guarantee that anything on the site is accurate, complete, or current. Specifically:

• A date shown here may be wrong, outdated, or superseded
• A "confirmed" label reflects how a source framed the information, not our independent verification of it
• Confidence scores are a calculated estimate based on sourcing and how stable a date has been — not a calibrated probability or a guarantee
• Product details, prices, and specifications may be incomplete or inaccurate

Do not rely on soonlit for decisions that matter financially or otherwise. Always confirm with the manufacturer, publisher, or retailer before acting on anything you read here.

An affiliate relationship does not change what we track or how claims are presented. We do not accept payment to feature a product, change a date, or alter a confidence score.

Availability, pricing, and the terms of any purchase are set entirely by the retailer, not by soonlit. We are not a party to your transaction and have no role in fulfillment, returns, warranties, or support.

External websites

soonlit links to source articles, official announcements, and retailers. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. Following an external link means their terms apply, not ours.

Acceptable use

You may read, share, and link to soonlit freely. You agree not to:

• Access, scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically extract content or data from the site through automated means, except as permitted by our robots.txt file, a written agreement with us, or applicable law — ordinary search-engine indexing consistent with robots.txt is welcome
• Interfere with the site's operation, security, or availability
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on the site

Corrections and feedback

Product pages include a way to report a problem. When you submit one, you confirm the report is your own and doesn't contain anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing. You give us permission to use the report to correct and improve the site.

Reports are not published on the site and are not displayed publicly. We may use the substance of a report to correct information, and we may retain it as part of our records. Please don't include sensitive personal information in a report — it isn't needed and we don't want it.

We review reports on our own schedule and are not obligated to act on any particular one. Submitting a report doesn't create any obligation or relationship between us.

Intellectual property

The site's design, original written descriptions, software, branding, and the original selection and arrangement of its content belong to soonlit or its licensors, and are protected to the extent applicable law provides. Release dates, product names, and other underlying facts come from public sources and are not claimed as our exclusive property.

Product names, trademarks, images, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on soonlit does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Requesting removal or correction

If you are a rights holder with a concern about material displayed on soonlit, email contact@soonlit.com. To help us evaluate the request quickly, please identify the material and its URL on soonlit, explain the basis for your request, and include your name and contact information. We'll address it promptly.

Release alerts

If you sign up for a release alert, you'll receive a confirmation email. Once you confirm, you'll receive up to two reminder emails for the date you're following: one the day before, and one on the day itself. We don't send alerts every time a date changes.

Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We send alerts on a best-effort basis and can't guarantee an email will be delivered, arrive on time, or reflect the most current information — a date may change after a reminder is sent. Availability

soonlit is provided as-is and as-available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site — including specific features, product pages, or the service as a whole — at any time and without notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, soonlit is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, soonlit and anyone operating it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, missed purchasing opportunities, missed release windows, or wasted expenditure, arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published here.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to soonlit will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability or exclusions of warranty, so parts of these sections may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as soonlit develops. When we do, we'll post the revised version and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent the law where you live requires otherwise.

Any dispute relating to soonlit or these Terms must be brought in the state courts located in Madison County, Alabama, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, except where applicable law permits you to bring it elsewhere.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a successor if soonlit is sold or otherwise transferred.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us concerning your use of soonlit. Section headings are for convenience only and don't affect how these Terms are read.

The sections covering accuracy, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive after you stop using the site.
