Seiko's latest 5 Sports SKX SNZH watches dress a chunky automatic sports design in two unexpectedly polished palettes. HDB004, nicknamed Formal White, pairs a silver-white dial and black bezel with gold-tone details; HDB005, Tweed Green, combines a green dial and bezel with rose-gold accents.

Substantial Steel on the Wrist

Both versions use a 42.5 mm stainless-steel case that measures 14.2 mm thick and 46 mm from lug to lug. A curved Hardlex crystal, guarded crown at four o'clock, unidirectional 60-minute bezel, and 100 meters of water resistance keep the watches practical beneath the dressier colors.

Seiko's Familiar 4R36 Inside

The automatic 4R36 movement offers manual winding, hacking seconds, a day-date display, 24 jewels, and roughly 41 hours of power reserve. Lumibrite on the hands and markers handles low-light reading, while a display caseback leaves the movement visible.

Each $459 watch comes on a steel bracelet with a push-button folding clasp and safety lock. They are approachable mechanical pieces with enough visual personality to separate them from the endless black-dial tool watches occupying the same price range.
