Jordan's New Game Shoe Leaves Leather Behind

The Air Jordan 41 moves the flagship line toward a lighter, more technical build. A nano-print mesh upper replaces the leather-heavy construction associated with many earlier Jordans, using a crosshatch structure to balance breathability with targeted containment. An asymmetrical collar and metallic Jumpman hardware keep the performance shell visually distinct.

Three Air Systems Stack Underfoot

Jordan Brand combines a full-length Zoom Strobel unit with a ZoomX foam midsole and another Air Zoom unit in the heel. The layered setup is designed to cushion hard landings while returning energy through quick cuts and takeoffs. A carbon-fiber and TPU shank stabilizes the platform, and full-length HART rubber uses a herringbone pattern for court traction.

Ruby Opens a Gemstone Season

The first colorway covers the shoe in University Red and Infrared 23, matching the "Ruby" name with a saturated opening look. A transparent TPU window inspired by performance cars exposes part of the internal construction. Amethyst and Opal editions are planned later, turning the initial season into a series of gemstone treatments rather than unrelated launches.

The Air Jordan 41 receives a limited China release on August 28 before its global launch on October 25. At $205, it enters as a serious basketball tool first, built from athlete feedback and loaded with the cushioning Jordan Brand considers its next full-court standard.
