A full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit sits directly beneath the foot for a springy, connected feel. Nike adds a separate forefoot Air Zoom unit to sharpen the first step, while Cushlon 3.0 foam softens the ride and helps manage repeated impacts. The combination is meant to support quick changes in speed without sacrificing stability.

The Molded Upper Handles Containment

The smooth exterior is more than a Foamposite-like visual reference. Its sculpted shape is designed to hold the foot during lateral movement, turning the shell into part of the performance package.
