The Superstar Slips Into Ballet Shoes

JENNIE's first adidas Originals shoe turns the familiar Superstar into something much closer to a ballet flat. The shell toe is still present, but its new squared profile changes the whole silhouette, while the usual laces give way to a clean elastic strap across the foot.

A Bow Where the Laces Used to Be

A small bow at the forefoot pushes the ballet reference beyond the shoe's low, streamlined shape. Two black-and-white colorways keep the palette tied to the classic Superstar: one starts with white and adds black Three Stripes and heel details, while the other reverses the arrangement.

JENNIE Leaves Her Mark Inside

The collaboration becomes explicit on the stitched interior label, where the adidas Trefoil appears beside JENNIE's personal logo. It is a quietly placed signature on a shoe whose exterior already feels closely connected to her fashion image, especially after adidas teased the project with campaign photos of her performing ballet in black-and-white gear.

An Icon Recut for the Sneakerina Moment

Adidas has already explored ballet-inspired footwear, but this design gives the idea a particularly recognizable starting point. By reshaping one of the brand's best-known sneakers instead of disguising it completely, the Superstar SQ Ballet lands between archive classic and current flat-shoe obsession.
