A Smart-Home Brain That Stays Local

Anker MindBase is an AI hub designed to coordinate nearly 100 Anker and Matter-compatible devices without sending every decision to the cloud. Its removable AI Core card runs the TrueSmart agent on the device, evaluating events and choosing responses in real time. It can work alongside Apple HomeKit rather than replacing an existing smart-home setup.

Security Events Become Actions

When connected cameras or sensors notice activity, MindBase can assess the risk and respond through observation, lighting, spoken warnings, or active deterrence. Anker's planned security bundle pairs it with a TrackLight Cam S1, Video Doorbell S4, and Smart Security Shield sensor. That edge sensor uses radar to detect unfamiliar people from up to 15 meters away.

Forty-Eight Terabytes for More Than Footage

The hub supports as much as 48TB of local storage and doubles as a network-attached storage system. Owners can keep camera recordings, personal files, photos, and videos in the home instead of paying solely for remote storage. Local processing and local capacity give the hardware a privacy and subscription-cost argument at the same time.

A Hub Designed to Grow

MindBase sits at the center of Anker's expanding home lineup, but Matter support also leaves room for devices from other companies. The replaceable compute card suggests its AI hardware may be upgradeable without discarding the entire storage hub. Anker has announced the system but has not yet set a price or availability date.
