Belkin calls its solid-state battery construction BoostSolid. At one complete cycle every two days, that represents roughly five years of regular charging.

Longer cell life matters especially for a small power bank that may be used and recharged constantly. Belkin estimates the new design can last up to three times longer than conventional alternatives. The Slim 5K skips the display and 60W wired output found on the UltraCharge Pro 10K, keeping its identity focused on compact magnetic charging. Both models reach the same 15W Qi2 wireless rate, so choosing the smaller one does not mean accepting slower phone charging. Sales begin this month through Belkin, Amazon, and other retailers.
