Rose Belmont Takes the Whip

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse places Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, at the center of a new 2D action-exploration game. Set 23 years after Dracula's Curse, it moves the hunt to medieval Paris in 1499, where monsters have overtaken the streets and catacombs. Rose's story is built around growth as much as bloodline, giving this Belmont an identity of her own.

Defeated Bosses Become New Powers

Bosses do more than guard the way forward. Once beaten, they are sealed into Rose's tarot cards as Arcana, unlocking spells and special actions that change how she fights and explores. Seven weapon categories and a range of offensive and defensive relics allow different builds, while Rose's whip doubles as a way to swing through tall Gothic spaces.

Paris Leads Back to Dracula's Castle

Evil Empire and Motion Twin join Konami on a game that mixes familiar Gothic imagery with brighter, more fluid animation. New areas sit alongside locations inspired by classic Castlevania stages, and the route eventually reaches Dracula's castle itself. The Switch version targets 30 frames per second and a 4GB install, while other platforms target 60 frames per second. Rose begins her hunt on October 15.
