Samsung’s Premium Tablets Start Bigger

The Galaxy Tab S12 series appears set to focus on large-screen Plus and Ultra models rather than offering a smaller standard tablet. Leaked US configurations begin with a Tab S12+ carrying 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, while the Ultra line stretches to a 16GB, 1TB flagship.

One Hundred Dollars More at Every Step

Pricing is expected to start at $1,199.99 for the Wi-Fi Tab S12+ and $1,349.99 for its 5G counterpart. Moving to 512GB raises the Plus to $1,399.99; the Ultra is listed at $1,399.99 for 256GB, $1,599.99 for 512GB, and $1,999.99 for the fully loaded 1TB version.

Those figures represent increases of roughly $100 across the range. The comparison is especially clear against the previous $1,099 Galaxy Tab S10+ and the $1,299 starting price of the Tab S11 Ultra.

The Ultra Line Reaches Two Thousand Dollars

At the top end, Samsung’s Android tablet crosses into premium-laptop pricing before accessories enter the picture. The wide spread between configurations makes storage, cellular access, and the jump from Plus to Ultra unusually consequential buying decisions.

A release date has not been announced, though the series is expected soon and may arrive alongside Samsung’s next Galaxy S26 family addition. Until specifications are official, the leaked price ladder is the clearest sign of how Samsung plans to position these tablets.
