Roku Pushes Its First OLED Brighter

The Roku Pro Series LX is the brighter, more premium half of the company's first OLED television lineup. It keeps OLED's deep blacks and wide viewing angles, then raises peak brightness to roughly twice that of the standard Pro Series OLED for rooms where sunlight and lamps can wash out a dimmer panel.

Premium Picture Without Leaving Roku City

Support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ gives movies and games room to use the panel's contrast, while Smart Picture Max automatically adjusts color, contrast, and sharpness for what is on screen. A high-refresh panel and Automatic Game Mode make the LX just as interested in consoles as it is in streaming.

Four Modern HDMI Connections

The set provides three HDMI 2.1 inputs plus a fourth HDMI 2.1 connection with eARC for a soundbar or receiver. That generous layout leaves space for multiple consoles and media boxes without constant cable swapping, even though Roku's own interface remains the center of the experience.

The Better Remote Comes Standard

The rechargeable remote has backlit buttons, programmable shortcuts, private listening through Bluetooth headphones, and a finder for the inevitable trip between couch cushions. Arriving in October with prices starting at $1,299, the LX is Roku's clearest attempt to pair its familiar software with picture hardware that feels properly upscale.
