The XT-6 Gives Way to Sharper Lines
Salomon XT-Evo pushes the familiar XT trail-runner shape into a more aggressive, layered silhouette. The upper keeps the franchise's oversized mesh but adds liquid-rubber overlays that flow across the shoe and give its panels more depth. It looks connected to the XT-6 without settling for a minor upper revision.
Trail Hardware Still Holds the Foot
An Agile Chassis works with the EnergyCell midsole to balance stability and cushioning on uneven ground. SensiFit wraps the foot between the midsole and lacing system, while an internal EndoFit sleeve tightens that hold from within. QuickLace closes with one pull and tucks into a pocket on the tongue.
Mud Contagrip Keeps the Lifestyle Shoe Grounded
The outsole uses Salomon's Mud Contagrip compound and deep, sharp-edged lugs for loose or rough surfaces. A molded OrthoLite insole adds cushioning and breathability, and the finished shoe weighs 365 grams with a 10mm drop. Those specifications preserve the technical credibility that helped Salomon's trail models find a second life as everyday sneakers.
Three Colorways Introduce the New Shape
Black/Asphalt gives the overlays a stealthy treatment, while Alloy/Castlerock/FTW Silver emphasizes the layered construction. Black/Fiery Red/White nods to an original XT-6 launch colorway and makes the new lines much more visible. All three arrive at $190, positioning XT-Evo as the next mainline chapter after its earlier Kith collaboration introduced the silhouette.
