Samsung's leaked Galaxy Buds On use a clip that wraps around the outer ear while leaving the ear canal open. The bulbous two-part shape resembles a small cuff, with one side holding the speaker near the ear and the other balancing it from behind. That design keeps outside sound present for commuting, office use, and walking in busy places.

A Nod Could Answer Without Touching

Images and strings from Samsung's Buds Manager app point to head-nod and head-shake gestures, along with an Auto Volume feature. The earbuds may also pause music when they detect that the wearer has fallen asleep. These controls suit a product designed to stay on for long stretches without sealing the listener away from the room.

Voice Notes Move Straight to Text

A touch-and-hold shortcut can reportedly start and stop a voice recording, with saved memos automatically transcribed. Bixby integration would allow voice searches without reaching for a phone, giving the open-ear pair a practical role beyond music. The name previously appeared as Galaxy Buds Able, and Samsung has not settled the public launch details. Even so, the current leak draws a distinct picture: Buds On are the everyday clip-ons, separate from the hooked Canal 5 model aimed at harder movement.
