Strangereal Is Back Under Fire

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve returns to the series' fictional world with the Federation of Central Usea already on the brink. In 2029, the Republic of Sotoa launches a lightning invasion, captures the capital city of Theve, and leaves the surviving FCU forces scrambling for a way home. You begin as an untested carrier pilot aboard the Endurance, then earn the name "Wings of Theve" as the counterattack gathers momentum.

A Pilot Who Becomes the Mission

The campaign follows more than sorties and score totals. First-person scenes let you look around between flights, spend time with squadmates such as Baxter and Tasha, and feel the strain of becoming a public symbol for a battered country. Aircraft and loadout choices shape how you approach each operation, while large-scale boss encounters put that preparation to work in the air.

A Much Bigger Online Airspace

Ace Combat Online has its own progression and save data, plus cross-platform play. Its Air Base lobby can hold up to 100 pilots, and Co-Op Warfare sends two teams of four into battle while land, sea, and air units keep the wider battlefield moving. That setup gives multiplayer the scale of a military operation instead of reducing it to a string of isolated dogfights.

Project Aces is pairing arcade-speed combat with a more personal view of the pilot behind the controls. Ace Combat 8 launches October 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
