The Dell 14S is an affordable everyday notebook in an aluminum body, offered in Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim, and Velvet Green. At about 2.5 pounds and 13.5mm thick, it is designed to disappear into a school bag without looking like another anonymous gray budget PC.

A Tall Screen With Two Speed Choices

The 14-inch display uses a roomy 16:10 aspect ratio, with 60Hz and 120Hz options and resolutions reaching 2.8K. Intel Core Ultra 3 and Core Ultra 5 processors power the range, giving buyers a choice between basic classwork and more demanding everyday multitasking.

Twenty-One Hours Is the Headline Number

Dell claims up to 21 hours of Netflix streaming from its new high-density battery. The company says the cell design packs in more energy without adding weight and is meant to run cooler while preserving capacity over time, though real endurance will still vary with the screen and workload.

Positioned Just Below the XPS 13

Two USB-C ports, HDMI, and a headphone jack cover the essentials, but Dell has not announced a price. The 14S reaches the United States this fall as a more accessible companion to the XPS 13. Its success will depend on whether the final price lives up to the student-friendly pitch as convincingly as the weight and battery figures do.
