Huawei Takes the GT Line Outside

The Huawei Watch GT 7 is built around trails, slopes, and long days away from a charger. It comes in 41mm and 46mm sizes with six color combinations, pairing a conventional round-watch shape with new outdoor training tools and brighter AMOLED displays that can reach 3,000 nits.

Ski Maps Join the Trail Tools

Huawei has expanded the watch's support for winter sports, including maps for more than 3,000 ski areas and tracking for skiing and snowboarding. Offline maps help on trails without a phone signal, while improved cycling features and safety tools widen its usefulness beyond the gym.

Up to Twenty-One Days on the Larger Watch

The 46mm GT 7 is rated for up to 21 days of light use, 12 days of typical use, and 51 hours in trail-running mode. The smaller 41mm version reaches up to 14 days lightly used or seven days under typical conditions, preserving long battery life for wrists that suit a less imposing case.

Everyday Features Come Back Down the Mountain

Bluetooth calling, wrist-based voice notes, weather and UV information, health tracking, and support for both iOS and Android keep the watch useful between adventures. It also carries 5ATM and IP69 water-resistance ratings. The GT 7's story is less about replacing a phone and more about staying useful when the phone is buried in a backpack.
