Acer Puts an AI Supercomputer Upright

The Acer SFF RTX Spark is a compact desktop design built around Nvidia's new RTX Spark platform. Its narrow vertical shell, vented sides, metallic accent, and fold-out stand make it look closer to a small console than a workstation, even though the hardware is aimed at local AI development and heavy creative work.

Grace and Blackwell Share One Memory Pool

The platform combines an Nvidia Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU with as many as 6,144 cores. Up to 128GB of unified memory can be accessed directly by the graphics hardware, helping the system handle large models and data sets without shuttling everything between separate CPU and GPU pools.

A Petaflop That Stays on the Desk

Nvidia rates RTX Spark for up to one petaflop of AI performance. Acer's pitch centers on running personal agents, model experiments, content-creation tools, and other sensitive workloads locally, giving users more control over data that would otherwise travel to a cloud service.

A Design Preview, Not a Store Listing

Acer introduced the SFF RTX Spark as a vision for its future desktop hardware, with price and availability still to come. The concept already makes the intended direction clear: workstation-scale AI memory and graphics in a box small enough to sit beside the monitor rather than under the desk.
