Lupin Part 4 brings Omar Sy's gentleman thief back from the one place even his charm and disguises cannot easily escape: prison. Assane voluntarily surrendered at the end of Part 3, trading his freedom for safety and a measure of peace for Claire and Raoul. The new chapter begins with that choice still hanging over him and a full set of Arsène Lupin books in his cell.

The Trick Is Getting Back Into the Game

Confinement changes the rules for a character who normally treats Paris as his stage. Assane has always won by reading people, planning several moves ahead, and slipping into identities that let him stand in plain sight.
