Finn and Jake Take the Scenic Route Again

Adventure Time: Side Quests returns for another batch of compact detours through Ooo, where the supposedly small jobs tend to become the strangest ones. Season two sends Finn and Jake into stories involving wrestling toads, baby gladiators, and magic spells, keeping the focus on playful adventures that can stand on their own.

Familiar Voices, New Little Disasters

Sasha Knight voices Finn alongside John DiMaggio as Jake, with Tom Kenny returning as the Ice King and Hynden Walch as Princess Bubblegum. Olivia Olson is back as Marceline, while Niki Yang takes on BMO, giving the series a cast that can move easily between affectionate character comedy and total fantasy nonsense.

A Smaller Door Back Into Ooo

Nate Cash is the showrunner and executive producer, carrying forward the short-form approach that makes Side Quests easy to dip into without flattening the world around its heroes. The episodes lean into the kind of lower-stakes premises that Adventure Time does best, where a silly errand can reveal a new creature, friendship, or corner of the map.

One Binge, Plenty of Weirdness

The full second season arrives October 2 on Disney+ and Hulu. For viewers who miss Finn and Jake's chemistry more than any single grand storyline, this is a welcome excuse to spend another afternoon wandering with them.
