The Divine Feminine Opens Its Studio Vault

The 10th-anniversary edition of The Divine Feminine adds three previously unreleased songs from the album's original sessions. Rather than attaching unrelated later material, the expanded track list reaches back to the same creative period as Mac Miller's 2016 record. That makes the reissue a fuller view of an album that marked a clear change in his sound.

Butterflies Leads the New Material

The first newly released track is Butterflies, produced by Taylor Graves with bass from longtime Miller collaborator Thundercat. Two more unheard session recordings are woven into the original sequence. They join an album already rich with guests, including Anderson .Paak, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, CeeLo Green, Bilal, and Njomza.

Hip-Hop Turns Toward Jazz and Soul

The Divine Feminine moved Miller into jazz-colored instrumentation and more soul-focused vocals, framing love and intimacy with a warmer musical palette. Its collaborators helped widen that approach without pulling attention from Miller's own writing and performance. A decade later, the added songs return listeners to the point when that stylistic shift was still unfolding.

Three Records and a Digital Archive

The expanded album arrives October 2, 2026 in standard and deluxe 3LP vinyl editions, with preorders open online and through selected music retailers. Miller's estate has also launched an interactive archival site made with design studio XXIX. Photos and media contributed by friends and collaborators extend the anniversary beyond the physical reissue and place the album within his wider life and work.
