Metroid Ravenous continues directly from Metroid Dread, dropping Samus onto an unfamiliar moon after unknown attackers ambush her. The setting is another maze of hostile ruins and enormous bosses, but the title points to the stranger change: newly awakened Metroid instincts now let her devour enemies.

Familiar Weapons Meet Predatory Powers

Beams and missiles still anchor the side-scrolling action, giving returning players the precise combat and exploration rhythm they expect. The ability to consume foes introduces a more aggressive layer to that formula and pushes Samus closer to the Metroid side of her identity. Switch 2 support includes HDR and output up to 120Hz, a strong fit for MercurySteam's fast movement and counter-heavy encounters.
