Motorola Returns to Wear OS

The Moto Watch Ultra marks Motorola's return to Google's full smartwatch platform. Wear OS 6 brings downloadable Play Store apps, Google Wallet, Maps, YouTube Music, and Gemini to the wrist. LTE eSIM support lets the watch stay connected when a phone is not nearby.

Polar Handles the Fitness Logic

Motorola partnered with Polar for heart rate, sleep, stress, blood-oxygen, and recovery analysis. Features include Nightly Recharge, Sleep Plus Stages, guided breathing, and an on-wrist running coach for walking and pace guidance. Dual-band GPS supports outdoor tracking, while Motorola's Qira assistant can retrieve saved information across compatible Motorola and Lenovo devices.

A Bright Screen in One Large Size

The 46mm stainless-steel case holds a 1.5-inch pOLED display rated at 2,700 nits. Gorilla Glass 3, IP68 protection, and 5ATM water resistance cover rain, swimming, and everyday impacts. The watch uses standard 22mm bands and ships with both silicone and leather options.

Two Days, Then a Quick Top-Up

A Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 chip runs the software, backed by a 550mAh battery rated for about 50 hours with the always-on display disabled. Fifteen minutes on the magnetic charger can supply up to 24 hours of active use. The Moto Watch Ultra goes on sale September 10 for $349.99, with carrier availability beginning later in the month.
