PlayStation Sound Without the Headset

Pulse Elevate brings Sony’s PlayStation audio approach to a pair of compact wireless speakers. They are built for PS5 and PlayStation Portal but also work with PC and Mac, making them a desk-friendly alternative for players who do not want every session sealed inside a headset.

Planar Drivers and Low-Latency Wireless

Sony has equipped the speakers with what it calls “studio-inspired planar magnetic drivers,” designed to reproduce sound across the audible spectrum. PlayStation Link handles low-latency connectivity, while an integrated microphone keeps voice chat available without adding another device to the desk.

Two Colors, Different Storefronts

Both black and white models cost $219.99 and include charging docks. The black set will be sold through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers worldwide; the white version has a more limited retail plan depending on region.

Preorders open September 1 at 10AM ET in the US, with local 10AM openings elsewhere, ahead of the November 12 launch. For a PlayStation setup that needs clean wireless audio without a soundbar or headset, Pulse Elevate fills a surprisingly specific gap.
