A 115-Inch Screen Hides in Clear Lenses

Snap's SPECS project digital interfaces onto transparent waveguide lenses while leaving the wearer's surroundings visible. The glasses can also create a full-color 51-degree field of view, comparable to watching a 115-inch screen from about ten feet away. Electrochromatic lenses adjust their tint with the light, and prescription compatibility keeps the design usable for people who already wear glasses.

Two Snapdragon Chips Power Snap OS

Dual Snapdragon processors run Snap OS 2.0 without a tethered computer. Infrared and RGB cameras join other sensors to map the environment, understand context, and place information where it belongs in the room. The hardware also connects to Snap's existing Lens ecosystem, giving AR creators a familiar platform for building experiences.

Four Hours on the Face, Twenty With the Case

Mixed use is rated at four hours per charge, while the included charging case extends total use to 20 hours. The smaller 47mm frame weighs 4.6 ounces, with a 52mm option available for a larger fit. Swiss TR90 thermoplastic keeps the structure resilient while limiting the weight added by the optics and onboard computer.

Consumer AR Carries an Early-Adopter Price

Preorders are open at $2,195, including a refundable $200 deposit, ahead of a fall 2026 release in the United States, United Kingdom, and France. The price positions SPECS for creators, spatial-computing professionals, and committed AR users before a mass audience. Its biggest promise is independence: the display, tracking, processing, and battery all travel in a wearable frame.
