The Soundcore Nebula X1S takes the well-regarded Nebula X1 and adds a fourth lamp to its optical engine. Maximum brightness jumps from 3,500 to 6,000 lumens, enough to make sports or movies practical with the shades open instead of reserving the projector for a fully dark room.

A 4K Image Up to Three Hundred Inches

The triple-laser system delivers 4K UHD video with Dolby Vision and can fill a screen as large as 300 inches. Optical zoom supports screens up to 200 inches from roughly 13 to 22 feet away, while 25 degrees of tilt helps fit the picture from a stand, table, or floor. A 14-element glass array sits inside the body.

Contrast Survives the Brightness Boost

A six-blade iris supports a claimed dynamic contrast ratio of up to 56,000:1, keeping dark scenes from becoming the price paid for all that light. Liquid cooling holds noise to 26 decibels. Google TV is built in, and two HDMI inputs include one with eARC.

The X1S is available for $3,299, with pricier bundles adding satellite speakers or a screen. Dolby Atmos is absent from the projector itself, so the speaker package is the stronger fit for buyers building a complete large-room theater.
