The Ocarina Finally Leaves the Screen

Hori's Electric Ocarina of Time turns Link's defining instrument into a working electronic accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Ocarina of Time. It is not played by blowing air through it. Instead, you cover its holes with your fingers, and the console's voice-recognition system listens to the notes during supported moments in the game.

Free Play mode lets you pick out melodies yourself using the familiar hole layout. Auto Play mode handles the performance and includes 12 songs from the game, offering an easier way to hear its best-known themes. The ocarina measures about 17.5 centimeters wide and weighs roughly 145 grams without batteries.
