More Torque Where the Truck Can Use It

The 2027 Ford F-150 replaces its twin-turbo 2.7-liter base engine with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6. Output remains 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet, but peak torque now arrives at 2,250 rpm instead of 3,500 rpm. That earlier pull should make the truck feel more responsive under load even though the headline numbers have not changed.

Carhartt Moves From Clothes to Cab

A new Carhartt model builds on a four-wheel-drive XLT crew cab with textured body graphics, special 20-inch wheels, Tremor headlights and hood, and a branded spray-in bedliner. Inside, two-tone cloth resembles Carhartt workwear, joined by tan stitching and branded all-weather mats. The package costs $4,195 and can be ordered now, with deliveries planned for early next year.

Hands-Free Driving Learns to Tow

BlueCruise with Towing can manage steering, speed, and following distance on more than 130,000 miles of divided highway after the driver creates a trailer profile. It is limited to 75 mph, can lower that limit for load or sway conditions, and hands control back in construction zones. Elsewhere in the lineup, the 400-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 returns to King Ranch and Platinum models, while stripped-back Tremor and Raptor versions lower the entry prices for Ford's off-road trucks.
