Samsung is adding another device to the Galaxy S26 family, extending the flagship line’s central camera and AI experience to a different part of the range. The company is keeping the exact model name under wraps until its August event, but the invitation promises the latest One UI and a focus on the everyday features users rely on most.

A Large 120Hz Phone Is Taking Shape

Rumored hardware points to a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. An Exynos 2500 chip is also expected, suggesting a phone positioned below the main flagships while retaining a large, smooth screen and Samsung’s current software platform.

The possible camera arrangement includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide, and 8-megapixel telephoto. Those details have not been confirmed by Samsung, but they sketch a versatile three-camera system rather than a stripped-down two-lens alternative.

Camera and AI Take the Stage Together

Samsung describes the addition as carrying the S26 family’s core experience “from camera to AI.” That framing makes computational tools and One UI as important to the pitch as the individual sensors or processor.
