A Pocket Polaroid With a Lightning Tail

The Pikachu Edition turns Polaroid’s smallest instant camera bright yellow and finishes it with a strap shaped like Pikachu’s zigzag tail. It is a cheerful, immediately recognizable redesign of the Polaroid Go Generation 3, sized to travel easily rather than take over a bag.

Small Camera, Stronger Flash

Beneath the Pokémon colors, this is the latest Go hardware. Generation 3 brings a more powerful flash and a tighter lens than earlier versions, helping the compact camera frame subjects more closely while preserving the tiny instant prints that define the Go format.

The camera costs $100, leaving its character-specific design as the main reason to choose it over the Sylveon edition. Both share the same portable body and photographic hardware; Pikachu’s bold yellow shell and tail strap are for anyone who wants the collaboration visible from across the room.

Pikachu Frames for Every Snapshot

Matching double packs of Go Color Film add Pikachu artwork around the photo borders and cost $25. Polaroid is also offering a Poké Ball-shaped Go case, themed album, and accessories, while collectible dark slides can be tracked through a dedicated web portal.

Preorders open August 25 through Polaroid and the Pokémon Center, with the collection scheduled for release on October 5.
