Three Cameras Pick Their Pokémon

Pokémon and Polaroid are marking the franchise's 30th anniversary with instant cameras based on a Poké Ball, Pikachu, and Sylveon. The $139.99 Now Generation 3 uses the Poké Ball design, while the smaller $99.99 Go Generation 3 appears in separate Pikachu and Sylveon editions. Each turns a working analog camera into a character-specific collectible rather than simply adding a logo.

Pokémon Frames Develop With Every Shot

Special film gives the instant prints themed borders after they leave the camera. Color i-Type film for the larger Now costs $22.99, while double packs for the Go come in Pikachu and Sylveon versions at $24.99. Matching the film to its camera lets the Pokémon design carry from the body of the device onto the finished photograph.

Cases, Albums, and Straps Complete the Kit

The collection also includes a Pokémon Go camera case and photo album at $24.99 each. A $14.99 strap works with both camera sizes, providing the least expensive way into the collaboration. Together, the accessories cover carrying the camera, wearing it, and storing the physical prints afterward.

Preorders open August 25, 2026 through Polaroid and Pokémon Center in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. The global release follows October 5 on Polaroid's website, with quantities limited.
