Jace Rewrites the Multiverse

Reality Fracture enters the Echoverse, a reality shaped by Jace Beleren to remove threats such as Nicol Bolas, the Eldrazi, and Phyrexia. Jace now rules this creation as the Theorist, and his ideal world is beginning to replace the Multiverse everyone else knows. Chandra and his former allies must confront the solution before it consumes their own histories.

Every Pack Shows Two Possible Lives

Echoed pairs place a familiar character beside the version created by Jace's reality, with one pair included in every Play and Collector Booster. The treatment reaches planeswalkers and legendary creatures, showing how their lives could have unfolded under different rules. Borderless versions spread their artwork across two cards, turning the conflict between realities into a physical part of collecting the set.

Hexhaven Trains Jace's New Order

The Echoverse introduces Hexhaven, Jace's military academy, with five allied-color schools. Familiar characters return in altered roles, including a blue-aligned Chandra and new forms for Liliana, Ajani, Garruk, and Jace. Shattered mirror cards, braintwister frames, and Japanese showcase treatments carry that distorted identity into the set's visual design.

Reality Fracture concludes Magic's ongoing storyline when the tabletop set releases October 2, 2026, following prerelease events and a September 29 Arena launch. A four-color Multiverse Reforged Commander deck arrives beside it, along with five mono-color Foundations Commander decks aimed at accessible play. The set gives both story followers and deck builders a clear choice: resist Jace's world or use its altered heroes.
