UGLYDOLL is coming back to stores through a long-term partnership between Jazwares and brand owner Pretty Ugly. The relaunch draws on the original artwork and the line's welcoming idea that odd shapes, visible differences and offbeat personalities are worth celebrating rather than smoothing away.

Wage, Ox and the Old Crew Lead the Way

Classic characters including Wage, Ox, Babo, Ice-Bat, Moxy and Tray remain at the heart of the revival. That continuity gives longtime collectors familiar faces while introducing the brand's humor and emotional character tags to children who missed its first designer-plush era.

A Much Bigger World Than Plush

Jazwares plans an assortment that stretches into multiscale figures and accessories, collectible vinyls, role-play toys and costumes, construction sets and novelties. Plush still anchors the identity, but the wider range gives each character more ways to live on a shelf, in a playroom or as part of a costume.

A Cult Favorite Finds Its Next Generation

UGLYDOLL began as an independent handmade plush in 2001 and grew into a global franchise centered on individuality and self-expression. Its worldwide retail return in fall 2027 is aimed at two audiences at once: adults who remember discovering the originals and children meeting these cheerfully unconventional creatures for the first time.
