The XGIMI Aura 3 Pro brings the core technology of the new series to a lower Kickstarter price than the flagship Max. It is an ultra-short-throw projector, so it can create a theater-size image while sitting close to the wall instead of hanging across the room. The $2,199 campaign price places it $200 below its brighter sibling.

High-Refresh Gaming at True 4K

The series uses two display controllers in parallel to support 4K output at 120Hz. HDMI 2.1 connections enable variable refresh rate, automatic low-latency mode, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Dolby Vision Gaming. Depending on the selected mode, XGIMI claims input lag as low as 1ms.

Cinema Hardware Shared With the Max

An RGB triple-laser light engine works with XGIMI's Dynamic Dual Iris optics, which regulate light for a native contrast ratio of up to 8,000:1. The projector supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode. It can also play 3D material and includes two pairs of glasses in the box.

Google TV Without an Extra Streamer

Google TV provides built-in access to major services including Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube, along with Google Cast. An 80W Harman Kardon speaker system supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, giving the projector its own substantial audio setup. The Aura 3 Pro launches through Kickstarter on October 20, with reservations available directly from XGIMI beforehand.
