A Pocket Player Ready for Rougher Trips

The refreshed Yoto Mini keeps the screen-free card player small enough for kids to carry, then toughens it for everyday mishaps. Its rounder body is easier for small hands to grip, while IP67 protection means dust and a brief dunk in up to one meter of water should not end the adventure. Yoto also put the design through 30,000 drop tests.

The Green Button Works Without a Card

A new Green Button lets parents assign up to 20 daytime favorites and 20 nighttime favorites in the Yoto app. Kids can turn and press it to choose those stories, music tracks, or playlists even when the physical cards are somewhere else. The familiar card slot remains, so the new control adds a shortcut instead of replacing the collection children already know.

Twice the Storage for the Backpack

Storage doubles to 64GB, enough for more than 1,000 hours of downloaded audio, and connectivity moves to dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 6.1. Yoto has also improved the bass and redesigned the optional Adventure Jacket with new colors and an attachment point. The $110 price is a noticeable jump from $80, but the added durability, offline capacity, and card-free favorites make the upgrade especially relevant for travel; shipments begin September 30.
