The Faker Gets a Bigger Room to Fool

Fakin' It XL spins the social-deduction favorite from The Jackbox Party Pack 3 into its own expanded game. Most players receive a question and respond honestly, while one person has to fake an answer without seeing the prompt. Everyone then argues over who is bluffing, often revealing stranger truths about their friends along the way.

Avatars Make Suspicion Easier Online

The original game leaned heavily on watching faces and body language in the same room. XL gives each player an avatar that reflects their reaction to a prompt, adding a visual clue for groups playing through a livestream. It is a targeted improvement for remote parties rather than a change to the core act of catching a liar.

Emojis and Thumbs Hide Two New Tasks

Emojional Damage asks honest players to choose the perfect emoji while the faker sees only a broad category and improvises. Thumb Luck reduces the answer to approval or disapproval, then makes the uninformed player defend choices they never knowingly made. Both formats are simple enough to understand instantly and leave plenty of room for ridiculous explanations.

Eight Players Can Join the Interrogation

Fakin' It XL supports parties of up to eight and launches November 12, 2026, on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions are planned to follow later in the year.
