LEGO Ideas The X-Files turns the show's paranormal investigations into a 1,478-piece display built around Fox Mulder's basement office. The room contains the details fans would hope to find, including the "I Want to Believe" poster, an X-Files dossier, sunflower seeds, and pencils lodged in the ceiling. It captures the cluttered headquarters of an obsession rather than settling for a generic FBI scene.

The Evidence Leads Into the Woods

Beside the office sits a forest clearing with a UFO hovering on a transparent stand. The forest works as its own diorama, and the saucer can be removed for alternate arrangements. Mulder's office also opens and partially disassembles, letting its smaller references remain visible after the build is finished.

Suspects, Agents, and One Flukeman

Eight minifigures cover an unusually broad slice of the series: Mulder, Scully, Skinner, Mr. X, Krycek, Carl Busch, the Flukeman, and a grey alien. That lineup lets the set move between government conspiracy, creature feature, and close encounter without reducing The X-Files to just its two leads.

A Fan Idea With Deep Roots

The model began with fan designer Brent Waller, who first built Mulder's office in 2014 while rewatching the series. Gillian Anderson helped reveal the official version in a new mini-film, and purchases during the launch window can include a separate Scully's Lab gift set while supplies last. The result feels unusually attentive to the corners of the show that longtime viewers remember best.
