A Marvelous Mathoms expands Magic's trip through The Hobbit with five separate Secret Lair drops. Each follows a distinct slice of the story, covering hearty meals, the road beyond the Shire, Smaug's treasure, desolation, and Bilbo's unseen movements. Buyers can choose the theme that fits a deck instead of purchasing one fixed card bundle.

Treasure, Food, and Familiar Spells

Second Breakfast and Beyond contains seven Food tokens, while Smaug's Spoils turns useful artifacts into treasures tied to Erebor, including Fellwar Stone as Erebor Heirloom, Lightning Greaves, Sol Ring, and Thought Vessel. Over the Edge of the Wild includes cards such as Cloudshift and Seize the Spoils. Desolation leans into black staples, and He Who Walks Unseen gathers blue effects including Curiosity and Windfall.

Most Drops Offer a Foil Choice

Four groups are available in non-foil for $29.99 or foil for $39.99. He Who Walks Unseen is foil-only at $59.99, setting it apart from the rest of the Superdrop. Spending $199 also earns a Heart of the Mountain promo that uses Arcane Signet as its underlying card.

A Limited Visit to the Marketplace

The Superdrop became available through the Secret Lair Marketplace on August 17, 2026. Its small themed selections work best for players who already know which cards or corner of Bilbo's journey they want. For Hobbit collectors, the five-part structure also turns the release into a set of miniature scenes rather than one broad franchise assortment.
