Team Rocket Takes Over the Booster Pack

Team Rocket's Ambition brings the villainous organization to Pokémon TCG Pocket with a themed pack full of its trainers and Pokémon. Every card features new artwork, and selected designs carry the team's signature red R. Giovanni and Persian also appear on new profile covers and backdrops, letting the takeover extend beyond deck building.

Shady Tickets Hide a New Assignment

Special Assignments introduce a fresh event structure built around earning Shady Tickets from missions. Players must then discover where that currency can be spent during the event, adding a small mystery to the usual reward loop. The assignments run from the expansion's August 26 launch through September 28.

Battles Feed a Month of Rewards

An Emblem event rewards themed profile emblems based on player-versus-player wins through September 9. The Lapras Drop event follows from September 9 to 19 with solo battles and B Series promo packs, then a Wonder Pick event adds Fennekin and Meowstic promos from September 18 to 28. Event shop tickets provide another route to a promo card.

Puzzles Continue Outside the App

The Great Puzzle Challenge asks players to solve web-based puzzles for serial codes redeemable for pack hourglasses in the game. Together with the new assignments, it gives the expansion activities that stretch beyond opening its cards. Team Rocket's Ambition arrives August 26, 2026 at 6 p.m. Pacific, making its events available almost immediately after the announcement.
