Link and Epona Rear Up in Brick Form

LEGO's next Legend of Zelda display set captures Adult Link astride Epona in one of the series' most recognizable heroic poses. The horse rises on her hind legs with Link in the saddle, turning a familiar piece of Ocarina of Time artwork into a three-dimensional build. It is a very different centerpiece from the Great Deku Tree and Final Battle sets that came before it.

A 1,750-Piece Ride Through Hyrule

The model uses 1,750 pieces, giving the designers room to shape both Epona's muscular frame and Link's riding pose. The subject also brings movement into the Zelda line: the eye follows the horse upward instead of across a static building or battle platform. For collectors, that vertical silhouette should make the set readable even from the far side of a room.

Ocarina of Time Leads the Anniversary Celebration

Nintendo unveiled Link and Epona during its Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, alongside new amiibo, hardware, and other merchandise. The choice of Adult Link ties the build directly to Ocarina of Time's time-spanning adventure, while Epona finally receives the scale and attention to stand beside him as a full character rather than a background detail.

The Full Model Is Still Under Wraps

LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Link & Epona is planned for spring 2027. Pricing and a specific release day have not been announced, with a fuller product reveal still to come.
