Magic Beams Aboard the Entire Franchise

Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek draws characters, stories, and starships from across Star Trek rather than anchoring itself to one crew. Iconic captains share the set with ships and settings from different eras, giving Commander players and collectors room to build around the part of the franchise they know best. The crossover reaches both tabletop Magic and MTG Arena.

Ships and Stations Become Game Pieces

Spacecraft and Station cards give the set a mechanical home for the franchise's most recognizable vessels and locations. Modal cards connect to the new dilemma mechanic, which triggers whenever one is cast, turning difficult choices into gameplay. Federation abilities count the non-Borg creatures under a player's control, making crew composition matter on the battlefield.

Real Signatures Enter Magic Packs

For the first time in Magic's history, the release includes autograph cards signed by Star Trek actors. That makes the collaboration unusually literal, placing a piece of the performers' connection to the franchise directly onto collectible cards. Special treatments accompany those signatures, while Commander decks, Scene decks, and Welcome decks broaden the ways to enter the set.

The Voyage Begins at Prerelease

Prerelease events run November 6 through 12, ahead of the November 13, 2026 global tabletop launch. Arena receives the set on November 10. Commander Nights, Standard Showdown, learn-to-play events, and two Commander Party rounds continue into January, making this more than a one-weekend crossover for local stores.
