Mega Rayquaza Returns After Eleven Years

Mega Evolution: Delta Reign brings Mega Rayquaza back to the Pokémon TCG for the first time since 2015's XY: Ancient Origins. The legendary Pokémon headlines a set of more than 135 cards alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex. Six additional Pokémon ex widen the set beyond its four Mega Evolution centerpieces.

Two Stadium Cards Build One Landmark

Delta Reign introduces Legendary Stadiums, each assembled by placing two Stadium cards side by side. The connected cards form one extended illustration as well as a paired game piece. Booster packs containing a Legendary Stadium will include both halves, removing the frustration of opening only one side of the feature.

Illustration Rares Take the Spotlight

The set contains 14 illustration rare Pokémon, 17 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, plus six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. One particularly unusual card uses an embroidered illustration by artist Tayu, adding a textile look to the expansion's artwork. Six Stadium cards create the three complete Legendary Stadium pairs.

Players Get an October Preview

Participating retailers can begin holding prerelease tournaments on October 24, giving players an early chance to try the cards. Pokémon TCG Live receives Delta Reign digitally on November 5, followed by the physical launch on November 6, 2026. Booster packs and Elite Trainer Boxes will carry the set, with preorder details still to come.
