Clean Water Follows the Mop Across the Floor

The Narwal Freo 20 brings the company's FlowWash roller mop to a less expensive robot vacuum. Hot water continuously cleans and refreshes the wide mop while the robot works, keeping dirty water from being dragged into the next section of floor. Narwal says the roller covers roughly seven times more surface area per pass than a conventional pad.

Suction Reaches 31,000 Pa

Vacuuming power rises to 31,000 Pa, putting the Freo 20 alongside much pricier flagship machines. A DualFlow brush system is designed to reduce hair tangles, while extendable brush and mop mounts reach farther into corners. At 3.74 inches tall, the robot can also pass beneath many tables and other low pieces of furniture.

Cameras Recognize the Clutter

TwinAI obstacle avoidance combines RGB cameras with onboard processing to identify household items such as cables and steer around them. Pet Care Mode can increase suction or seek out a pet inside the home. Baby Care Mode lowers suction to reduce the chance of waking a sleeping child, turning object recognition into more than simple collision avoidance.

The Dock Handles Both Messes

The base station empties the robot's dustbin for up to 120 days and manages separate clean- and dirty-water tanks for the mop. It washes the roller with hot water, then dries it using heated air. The Freo 20 normally costs $1,099, but launches at $899 through September 3, with an additional limited $50 code available through August 26.
