Tight early missions expand into a larger version of the ancient capital, where toxic fog and hellish structures block streets. Sealing Genma rifts and destroying the plants producing that fog gradually liberates new areas, while Rokudo Chinno-ji Temple becomes the base of operations.

Every Sword Angle Leaves a Mark

Dynamic dismemberment cuts demons along the path of Musashi’s katana. An Oni Bow adds ranged attacks, puzzle solving, and trap activation, while collected souls and treasure improve equipment and unlock abilities.

The Monsters Attack the Combat Economy

Daidara can devour hard-earned souls, forcing players to decide when it is safe to absorb them. Rasho-gan offers to remove the gauntlet by taking Musashi’s arm, while blood makes Byakue increasingly wild—bosses designed around tactical problems as memorable as their grotesque forms.
