Path of Exile 2 reaches version 1.0 on December 11, turning years of public development into the game's full release. This is more than a label change: Grinding Gear Games is treating it as the opening of the action RPG's next major chapter.

Every Major Layer Is Growing

The launch update expands the campaign and endgame, giving both first-time characters and established builds more places to go. Character progression, skills, and loot are also getting substantial additions, which matters in a game where a single build can be planned around the interaction between dozens of systems.
