Roomba Electro Plus is iRobot's first user-operated floor cleaner, a cordless machine designed for deeper hard-floor work than an autonomous robot can provide. It vacuums, mops, and sanitizes in one pass. The self-propelled body keeps that multi-stage clean manageable with one hand.

Tap Water Becomes the Disinfectant

Electrolyzed-water technology transforms ordinary tap water into a cleaning solution without added chemicals, toxins, or steam. iRobot says it kills 99.99 percent of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and germs. The process is intended to leave hard floors streak-free and residue-free while remaining suitable around children and pets.

The Roller Washes Itself While Moving

A PowerSpin roller mop continuously cleans itself during a pass, reducing the chance of carrying the same dirty water across the room. Dirt Detect technology adjusts cleaning intensity as the machine encounters different mess levels. An anti-hair-wrap system keeps hair from collecting around the cleaning hardware and adding another maintenance job.

The Dock Finishes the Cleanup

After use, the ThermaClean dock washes, sanitizes, and dries the machine automatically. That closes the loop on a five-in-one system whose work extends beyond simply picking up debris. Roomba Electro Plus carries a $399.99 suggested price, entered presale July 7, 2026, and was scheduled to reach selected retailers later that month.
