The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online adds full internet co-op to the grotesque, endlessly replayable roguelike. Up to four players can descend together, combining their characters and improvised item builds against rooms designed to turn a promising run into chaos without warning.

The Whole Roguelike Comes Along

This is not a small multiplayer side mode. The console package includes The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and its many expansions, bringing years of characters, enemies, items, and branching runs into the online version.

Repentance+ Online will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Its multiplayer has been in beta on PC since 2024, where some players have encountered bugs and performance problems, so the console release also represents a much wider test of how smoothly Isaac’s dense combinations hold together over a network.

A Defiant Date With GTA VI

Most publishers would avoid launching beside Grand Theft Auto VI; Repentance+ Online is arriving on exactly the same day, November 19. The overlap feels almost appropriate for a game whose identity is built on embracing terrible odds and trying one more run anyway.

For longtime Isaac players, the real attraction is not the calendar stunt. It is the chance to turn a deeply solitary obsession into a shared one without leaving the enormous accumulated game behind.
