The rerelease adds 60fps support, interface and experience improvements, more save slots, and autosave. PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions also receive gyro and motion support, updating a game that has been unavailable digitally since 2019.

Aspyr May Be Opening a Larger Archive

War in the North is available on Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X. Aspyr says more classic Lord of the Rings releases are coming, making this surprise return a possible first step toward recovering a much wider catalog of Middle-earth games.
