LEGO Ideas 21373 turns Highclere Castle, the filming home of Downton Abbey, into a substantial display build for adults. The 4,711-piece model preserves the estate's stately exterior while opening up the rooms where the Crawley family and household staff lived very different lives. At more than 12 inches tall and about 17.5 inches wide, it is meant to command a shelf rather than fill a small gap on one.

Six Rooms Carry the Story

The upper level holds the main hall, dining room, and library, while the kitchen, servants' hall, and Mr. Carson's office sit below. The top floor lifts away for a closer view of those interiors, each filled with period details suited to recreating scenes from the series. A cedar tree and bench complete the grounds without distracting from the architecture.

Season Six Gets the Minifigure Cast

Thirteen minifigures represent characters from the show's sixth season: the Dowager Countess, Lord and Lady Grantham, Lady Mary, Lady Edith, Tom Branson, Mr. Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Mr. Bates, Thomas Barrow, Mrs. Patmore, Anna Bates, and Daisy Parker. The set grew from Sebastian Veselka's fan design, which reached the LEGO Ideas review stage under the name BRO3. It costs $349.99, with availability beginning October 1.
