Four Familiar Ponies Begin a New Journey

My Little Pony: Forever Friendship brings Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy into a new animated adventure. The series follows their friendship, magic, and self-discovery while building on the era of Friendship Is Magic. Its "feelings-first" approach puts individuality, belonging, and emotional growth at the heart of each story.

Equestria Gets an Iridescent Makeover

The new visual direction uses luminous color, iridescent magic, and more expressive character design. Showrunner and head writer Gretchen Mallorie leads the series with director Tayhan Mustafa, working with Lil Critter Workshop and illustrator Nicholas Kole. The goal is a refreshed Equestria whose fantasy grows directly out of the ponies' emotions and relationships.

Nine-Minute Stories Arrive Every Other Week

Episodes will run for nine minutes and debut biweekly on YouTube, a format built for focused character adventures rather than traditional half-hour television blocks. Jenna Weir voices Twilight Sparkle, Ava Preston plays Rainbow Dash, Kayla Samson takes Fluttershy, and Kaya Kanashiro voices Pinkie Pie. Clips will extend the stories across the brand's social channels.

The Friendship Continues Beyond the Episodes

An upbeat new theme song performed by Cali Rodi is already available, while the cast will sing the version used in the title sequence. Hasbro is also planning new music and a companion podcast series. That wider rollout makes Forever Friendship feel like a digital-first revival with several ways to spend time with its returning characters between episodes.
