Brad Pitt returns to the stuntman who walked calmly through the chaos of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth catches him eight years later in 1977 Los Angeles, working as a studio fixer. That job puts his practical talents to use in the less glamorous corners of the movie business.

Tarantino Writes, Fincher Directs

Quentin Tarantino wrote the screenplay but hands the camera to David Fincher, giving Cliff's next chapter a fascinating change of temperament. Fincher and Pitt have already made Seven, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button together. Their precision meets a character born from Tarantino's loose, alternate-history Hollywood.

A Larger Cast Enters Cliff's Orbit

Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, and Peter Weller join Pitt. Timothy Olyphant also returns as actor James Stacy. Leonardo DiCaprio's Rick Dalton is no longer the center of the story, leaving Cliff to carry the strange mix of charm, danger, and professional cleanup himself.

The film opens for a two-week IMAX run on November 25 before streaming on Netflix December 23. That brief theatrical window should suit a 1970s Los Angeles story made by one of cinema's most exacting visual directors.
